Police guidelines are changing to allow input from psychics, clairvoyants and witches to help solve murder and other cases where there is a lack of meaningful clues.
It is an interesting conundrum. Is the psychic genuinely communicating with the dead or is she tapping into the pool of knowledge held by the police but not in the public domain? Is there a psychic scar left at the scene?
What about missing presumed dead? Can psychics find the person dead or alive? What if the murderer is psychically stronger than the psychic.
Here is the problem. Spend an hour at a busy place such as a high street or shopping mall on a Saturday. How many shivers down the spine do you get as a murderer walks past? I bet if enough people walk past you will have been in very close proximity to a killer or two and not even noticed. The shiver in the spine – how would you know it signified a killer? Walking up to a stranger and accusing him of murder is most definitely not recommended. Telling the police of your “proof” will only get you added to the local nutters list.
Psychic phenomena
Despite having the odd insight into a murder (it was two missing girls and the “friend” spoke about them in the past tense during a live TV news interview), I do not get the heavy energy associated with these events.
There is a problem with the involvement of psychics in these types of cases. None of what we see or say is admissible in court, quite rightly. Quite frankly a lot of psychics act strangely and dress up weirdly. Even if individual police officers are sympathetic they are not going to stick their neck out as bang goes their career.
Having said that, we are here to serve the community, and anything we can do to help solve terrible crimes should always be considered.
